Vennancio Cagide's late challenge caught a Vanadio F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vennancio Cagide helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to West Town SC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Vennancio Cagide hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the game, Minda Talavera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Frutos Cubas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. West Town SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vennancio Cagide in the 12th minute. West Town SC's Vennancio Cagide was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frutos Cubas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frutos Cubas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Minda Talavera went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A hard shot 22 in the game by Minda Talavera from a close distance when the talented Frutos Cubas managed to make a qualified save. Vanadio F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 24th minute, West Town SC's Francisco Dias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frutos Cubas. Frutos Cubas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a rather tough play, West Town SC's Jonathan Mensa got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when West Town SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virila Calvon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoelvis Brizuela's late challenge caught a Vanadio F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yoelvis Brizuela helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes West Town SC got a freekick which was hit by Yoelvis Brizuela. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Cimbron in the 35th minute of play forced West Town SC's goalkeeper Ursino Cervilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vanadio F.C.'s Eugenio Crujeiras got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Ikatz Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yiyo Corono got free with Frutos Cubas in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frutos Cubas made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Minda Talavera sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emmanuel Cimbron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emmanuel Cimbron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ursino Cervilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Vaz in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ursino Cervilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 played minutes West Town SC got a freekick which was hit by Yiyo Corono. After 59 minutes of play West Town SC's Yoelvis Brizuela was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. West Town SC:s Ursino Cervilla showed great skill when he stopped Narciso Vaz:s penalty. Yiyo Corono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to West Town SC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Francisco Dias hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Vanadio F.C. defense, Yiyo Corono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frutos Cubas. The Vanadio F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frutos Cubas should have stopped the shot. Frutos Cubas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Minda Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Florencio Iturbe hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. West Town SC fully deserved thier win.
