Ricardo Acitores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute, West Town SC's Minda Talavera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santio Ilarraz. Santio Ilarraz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Victor Hugo Aristizábal struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ricardo Acitores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aɾɳσɾ FC.. In the 23rd minute Minda Talavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santio Ilarraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Yiyo Corono could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Santio Ilarraz however easily saved by the left post. In the 28th minute, Erramun Cepa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santio Ilarraz was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Hugo Viego capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugo Viego really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 45th minute, Jaramillo Brunet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

55 minutes into the game, Jaramillo Brunet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Town SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aɾɳσɾ FC. the free kick. In the 55th minute, Jaramillo Brunet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match Bernardo Silva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Acitores skillfully saved the ball. In the 57th minute of the match, Victor Hugo Aristizábal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Acitores saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in West Town SC's zone, Bernardo Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Acitores came out of the goal and Bernardo Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Aɾɳσɾ FC.'s Ricardo Acitores threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Hugo Aristizábal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Gerhard Müller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Victor Hugo Aristizábal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Acitores was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 79 minutes into the match, Aɾɳσɾ FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Minda Talavera came free, but Santio Ilarraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Hugo Aristizábal kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ricardo Acitores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Hugo Aristizábal in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Aɾɳσɾ FC. booed when West Town SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virila Calvon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, one of West Town SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ricardo Acitores had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Erramun Cepa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ricardo Acitores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erramun Cepa went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aɾɳσɾ FC. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
