Cristobal Ermengol scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Iraunkor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 played minutes Real Independient got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Onofre. Cristobal Ermengol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Jairo Iraunkor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esteban Solustiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Jacindo during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ernesto Jacindo hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Ermengol was the one to do the kick off. Aquiles Clemencin made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ernesto Jacindo sent off a good shot on target. When Nicasio Lano fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored espuelas's protests and gave Nicasio Lano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, espuelas's Nicasio Lano got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute, Cristobal Ermengol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The espuelas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Ermengol in the 67th minute of play forced Real Independient's goalkeeper Jairo Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Solustiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Iraunkor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Independient's zone, Esteban Solustiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Iraunkor came out of the goal and Esteban Solustiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Solustiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Iraunkor came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by espuelas's Esteban Solustiano. But to his dismay, Esteban Solustiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. If Cristobal Ermengol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Real Independient's zone, Cristobal Ermengol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Iraunkor came out of the goal and Cristobal Ermengol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Ermengol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Independient's Ernesto Jacindo got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Ernesto Jacindo off the ground. In the 98th minute, Ernesto Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 100 minutes into the match, espuelas's Cristobal Ermengol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Iraunkor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that espuelas were the better team. espuelas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
