Spectators: 6833 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vicente Donio made the kick off which started today's match. Gaudencio Elazar kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Soles Mexicali's Vicente Donio got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Julian Phelipe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soles Mexicali fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jose Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Donio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Evelio Gonsalve got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jonathan Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Tohias having to interfere. Jose Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Dantel in the 21st minute of play. Vicente Donio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Evelio Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Soles Mexicali's Eulalio Henric got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 45th minute Isidoro Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Evelio Gonsalve made the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Senen came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jose Guillem could save by the left post. Jose Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Donio in the 55th minute of play. Vicente Donio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Antonio Tohias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evelio Gonsalve's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match, Paolo Oto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jose Guillem saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Algarrobal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Astor Tirso hit a great ball. Isidoro Dantels short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Jose Guillem to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 66 minutes into the game, Blas Oton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Algarrobal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soles Mexicali the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Algarrobal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Oton to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jose Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Soles Mexicali's Vicente Donio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jose Guillem. Jose Guillem yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Gonsalve in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Tohias saved Soles Mexicali from getting behind. In the 87th minute Evelio Cordarryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Tohias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
