Guilherme Lage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedict Belanger, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Huron FC's Keenan David got control of the ball when Warren Starnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, Esteban McCoy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Keenan David. The goal made the score 2-0. If Marlin Woodall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Marlin Woodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keenan David saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Blue in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Lage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Warren Starnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Aldo Blue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Blue in the 33rd minute of play forced San Diego Minas's goalkeeper Guilherme Lage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Blue in the 38th minute of the match. Huron FC's Keenan David proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Huron FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlin Woodall in the 41st minute of play forced Huron FC's goalkeeper Keenan David to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warren Starnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keenan David showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlin Woodall in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedict Belanger to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marlin Woodall in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keenan David saved Huron FC from getting behind. Marlin Woodall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keenan David having to interfere. When Warren Starnes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the San Diego Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Warren Starnes couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, San Diego Minas's Marlin Woodall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keenan David made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Keenan David made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Warren Starnes in the 94th minute of play. If Benedict Belanger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the San Diego Minas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
