If Marlin Woodall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Prague AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lonnie Hull hit a great ball. After 14 minutes, Tracy Voss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prague AFC and the San Diego Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Prague AFC! When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, San Diego Minas's Stevie German got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Giovanni McDonald. Claude Ott hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Guilherme Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Veltman in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Prague AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marlin Woodall came free, but Giovanni McDonald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Edmundo Veltman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Val Shaver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Guilherme Lage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Edmundo Veltman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guilherme Lage. San Diego Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Veltman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Edmundo Veltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Rubin Flynn from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Giovanni McDonald's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Warren Starnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Diego Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Warren Starnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni McDonald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Marlin Woodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlin Woodall had several of the Prague AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Giovanni McDonald as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marlin Woodall was the one to do the kick off. Edmundo Veltman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Lage having to interfere. A well-hit corner resulted in Edgar Owen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 64th minute, Marlin Woodall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovanni McDonald was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a rather tough play, San Diego Minas's Ramon Finn got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Edmundo Veltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Veltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Veltman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guilherme Lage firmly grabbed it by the left post. Giovanni McDonald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Diego Minas. Giovanni McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warren Starnes in the 87th minute of the match. Esteban McCoy struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Giovanni McDonald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Diego Minas. Giovanni McDonald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Warren Starnes went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Edmundo Veltman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Guilherme Lage made a huge save. Many of Prague AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Prague AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but San Diego Minas were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
