Spectators: 7967 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marshall Layton took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chick-fil-a's attentive Glen Travis managed to snatch the ball when Bart Alford made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Marshall Layton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquis Bridges having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bootles FC's zone, Marshall Layton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquis Bridges came out of the goal and Marshall Layton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarrod Crandall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marquis Bridges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chick-fil-a's Glen Travis got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chick-fil-a's zone, Juan Whitlock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Beck came out of the goal and Juan Whitlock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marshall Layton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Marquis Bridges made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Chick-fil-a's goal looked a bit too open when Moses Gann came free, but Clark Beck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Nicholas McClellan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Beck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clark Beck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas McClellan, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute.

After 51 played minutes Chick-fil-a got a freekick which was hit by Marshall Layton. Marshall Layton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marquis Bridges having to make a save. Marquis Bridges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf McLeod in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moses Gann in the 66th minute of play forced Chick-fil-a's goalkeeper Clark Beck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Bart Alford with Nicholas McClellan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Chick-fil-a getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Len Lopez hit a great ball.
