In the 12th minute Chad Foley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fletcher Esposito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Feliciano in the 14th minute of play forced North Springfield's goalkeeper Bill Renteria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joaquin Feliciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Feliciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Bill Renteria made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Ace Newby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fletcher Esposito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Connor Gaston in the 25th minute of the match. After some careless play in the North Springfield defense, Joaquin Feliciano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bill Renteria. The North Springfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bill Renteria should have stopped the shot. After 31 played minutes North Springfield got a freekick which was hit by Connor Gaston. Joaquin Feliciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Renteria having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Vern Landry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Blair's late challenge caught a North Springfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Blair helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 42 minutes, Connor Gaston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Springfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Connor Gaston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquin Feliciano to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, North Springfield's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Feliciano came free, but Bill Renteria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Chad Foley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Springfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alianza Troy the free kick. Chad Foley kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Joaquin Feliciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Feliciano in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bill Renteria saved North Springfield from getting behind. The supporters of North Springfield booed when Alianza Troy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randy Parrish didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Gaston in the 65th minute of play forced Alianza Troy's goalkeeper Fletcher Esposito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Joaquin Feliciano put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bill Renteria. If Connor Gaston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ace Newby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Fletcher Esposito made a huge save. Eldon Coats kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Joaquin Feliciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Renteria having to interfere. Ace Earl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Feliciano took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bill Renteria. Bill Renteria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 93rd match minute, Alianza Troy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eldon Coats to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Alianza Troy were the better team. Alianza Troy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
