With a little luck, Drink Team FC's Paquito Vizcarra got control of the ball when Jose-Antonio Bodega tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Drink Team FC's zone, Cheche Collantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paquito Vizcarra came out of the goal and Cheche Collantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cheche Collantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Pujargimon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esdras Jolis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheche Collantes in the 33rd minute of play forced Drink Team FC's goalkeeper Paquito Vizcarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cheche Collantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Genaro Pujargimon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sancor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Pujargimon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cheche Collantes to make the kick off. Drink Team FC's Paquito Vizcarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Pujargimon in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Santo Longines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Genaro Pujargimon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Cheche Collantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Paquito Vizcarra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paquito Vizcarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Pujargimon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sancor getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Beremundo Ureña hit a great ball. Genaro Pujargimon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Sancor's Genaro Pujargimon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paquito Vizcarra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 78th match minute, Drink Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Longines to maneuver through the defense. When Cheche Collantes came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Sancor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheche Collantes couldn't finish the play. Peter Zubillaga kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Esdras Jolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cordarrel Marina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Zubillaga during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gai Arrojo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Cordarrel Marina made a huge save. Sancor's Cheche Collantes got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Drink Team FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Esdras Jolis hit a great ball. Franco Morentin hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Sancor's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
