When UD Tetetes's Fausto Tocornal in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Iluman's goalie prevented a goal. If Fausto Tocornal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Tocornal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabricio Quetara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Brieba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Félix Ricote who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Iluman's Danilo Brieba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, UD Tetetes's Fausto Tocornal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Brieba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, UD Tetetes's Alfredo Munne got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Fausto Tocornal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teo Guinea's late challenge caught a UD Tetetes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Guinea helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes CD Iluman got a freekick which was hit by Teo Guinea. Fausto Tocornal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half UD Tetetes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Natal to strike the kick off in the second half. Jose Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Natal in the 52nd minute of play. With his leg Danilo Brieba managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when UD Tetetes's Fausto Tocornal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in CD Iluman's zone, Fausto Tocornal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Brieba came out of the goal and Fausto Tocornal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fabricio Quetara came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the UD Tetetes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Quetara couldn't finish the play. After having played for 67 minutes, Narciso Ser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Tetetes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Ser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st match minute, CD Iluman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Ayasti to maneuver through the defense. When Fabricio Quetara came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the UD Tetetes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Quetara couldn't finish the play. Félix Ricote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Brieba having to interfere. Danilo Brieba made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Aragón Valmaseda sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, CD Iluman's Danilo Brieba got control of the ball when Fabricio Quetara tried to sneak it across the goal line. CD Iluman's Danilo Brieba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save CD Iluman from getting a goal against them. Aragón Valmaseda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Fabricio Quetara made a precise shot to the right of Danilo Brieba. CD Iluman's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Fabricio Quetara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Danilo Brieba made a huge save.
