The referee showed Xizavier Salces the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xizavier Salces hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Quiñónez Madera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lestat Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Quiñónez Madera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rixon Madrigal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manchester United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Xuban Frexes scored to the left of an out of position Rixon Madrigal, making the score, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Bernardo Castelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Quiñónez Madera notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Manchester United's Rixon Madrigal. Rixon Madrigal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manchester United's René Pedraza got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ordóñez Erauzquin hit a great ball. Lestat Futbol Club's Gilmar Moraina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Panizo in the 38th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Venceslao Carrete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lestat Futbol Club and the Manchester United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venceslao Carrete hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. René Pedraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Moraina having to interfere. Quiñónez Madera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Quiñónez Madera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rixon Madrigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, René Pedraza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but René Pedraza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Bernardo Castelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lestat Futbol Club's Ricardo Cerezal got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xuban Frexes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rixon Madrigal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aguirre Goyeneta to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Manchester United defense, Xuban Frexes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rixon Madrigal. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rixon Madrigal should have stopped the shot. Simon Panizo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Moraina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Panizo ran back to his position shaking his head. Venceslao Carrete hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, René Pedraza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. René Pedraza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Lestat Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Panizo came free, but Gilmar Moraina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester United's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lestat Futbol Club had won, even though Manchester United had held more of the ball.
