Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Castorena in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Davila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Samuel Castorena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Castorena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Chical FC booed when D-Generation X ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xofre Caneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Davila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Castorena, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Xiao Deza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borja Grado, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lorenzo Davila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Castorena in the 24th minute of the match. Samuel Castorena struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Lorenzo Davila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for D-Generation X ®. 27 minutes into the game, Borja Grado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chical FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave D-Generation X ® the free kick. After 27 played minutes Chical FC got a freekick which was hit by Borja Grado. 34 minutes into the match, Chical FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Castorena came free, but Lorenzo Davila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Letamendi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Davila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Samuel Castorena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lorenzo Davila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a defensive mix-up in Chical FC's zone, Samuel Castorena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Davila came out of the goal and Samuel Castorena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Julio Letamendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. D-Generation X ®'s Xiao Deza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borja Grado in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes D-Generation X ®'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Garrandes who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Chical FC's corner Peter Garrandes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xiao Deza quite easily take care of the ball. Chical FC's Lorenzo Davila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Castorena in the 62nd minute of play. Samuel Castorena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Castorena took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Davila. Lorenzo Davila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lorenzo Davila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Castorena in the 78th minute of play. Lorenzo Davila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Castorena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Letamendi in the 82nd minute of play forced Chical FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Davila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes, Frutos Aspurua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chical FC and the D-Generation X ® players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Alex Dalmases had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Castorena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Davila having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. D-Generation X ® had played much better football throughout.
