Xorxe Goiri started the match with the kick off. When Insua Varez fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona S.C's protests and gave Insua Varez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Insua Varez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Barcelona S.C's Hernandez Aguinagalde got a free kick in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona S.C's zone, Sebastian Nabarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mendoza Murrillo came out of the goal and Sebastian Nabarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mendoza Murrillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Conill in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Barcelona S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Arona came free, but Mendoza Murrillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Barcelona S.C's Xacobo Cabrero made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dani Araujo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Xorxe Goiri came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Barcelona S.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xorxe Goiri couldn't finish the play. Xorxe Goiri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dani Araujo having to make a save. The supporters of Barcelona S.C booed when Burgay SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentim Viaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mendoza Murrillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Arona in the 24th minute of play. Dani Araujo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Xacobo Cabrero sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Conill in the 29th minute of play forced Barcelona S.C's goalkeeper Mendoza Murrillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xorxe Goiri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dani Araujo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xacobo Cabrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Barcelona S.C booed when Burgay SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerson Chirivoga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Barcelona S.C's Xorxe Goiri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dani Araujo. Dani Araujo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Elvis Magadan in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mendoza Murrillo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 52nd minute, Yambay Belorado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Elvis Magadan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burgay SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvis Magadan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mendoza Murrillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Xorxe Goiri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xacobo Cabrero struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dani Araujo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona S.C. In the 79th match minute, Barcelona S.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yambay Belorado to maneuver through the defense. Barcelona S.C's Xorxe Goiri got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Sebastian Nabarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burgay SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelona S.C the free kick. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Burgay SC! Veremundo Proaño walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Richard Arona came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Burgay SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Arona couldn't finish the play. Elvis Magadan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Mendoza Murrillo made a huge save. Barcelona S.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
