Teofilo Roig's late challenge caught a NACTIC FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Roig helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute NACTIC FC were awarded a corner. Bastia Cornejo went to the cornerflag to take it. NACTIC FC's Urtats Vecilla shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Naldo Sabon but with some difficulty. In the 18th match minute, Poima FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telo Sans to maneuver through the defense. If Remigio Sarandeses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to NACTIC FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Henrique Sancho hit a great ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Garin Hurones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NACTIC FC's Goi Selgas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Txeru Pueyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Sabon having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Remigio Sarandeses notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Poima FC's Naldo Sabon. Naldo Sabon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Poima FC's Naldo Sabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Sarandeses in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Poima FC booed when NACTIC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iturri Astudillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galsino Cantera struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Goi Selgas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poima FC. In the 45th match minute, NACTIC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sanduru Oblanca to maneuver through the defense. After 48 minutes NACTIC FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Precioso Peiro who took care of the corner kick. Precioso Peiro made a great header on Poima FC's corner, it was just that NACTIC FC's Goi Selgas managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Naldo Sabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Sarandeses in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, NACTIC FC's Remigio Sarandeses sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Sabon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Naldo Sabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txeru Pueyo in the 63rd minute of the match. Txeru Pueyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NACTIC FC's Remigio Sarandeses got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute of the match Bastia Cornejo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naldo Sabon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Txeru Pueyo in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Bastia Cornejo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Naldo Sabon. Poima FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Naldo Sabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txeru Pueyo in the 85th minute of play. Naldo Sabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Sarandeses, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Remigio Sarandeses had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naldo Sabon. Poima FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigio Sarandeses was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 96 minutes into the game, Iturri Astudillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NACTIC FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poima FC the free kick. When the referee ended the match the NACTIC FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
