Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sabaneta FC's Denis Rubion started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Sabaneta FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lisandro Llosa hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Rubion. When Orixe Tuero came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Jepisi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orixe Tuero couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, one of Sabaneta FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sabaneta FC. After 14 played minutes Jepisi FC got a freekick which was hit by Orixe Tuero. After 15 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Canelas. Sabaneta FC's Rodriguez Betoño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orixe Tuero in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Denis Rubion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabaneta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Rubion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodriguez Betoño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orixe Tuero in the 19th minute of play. Xalbador Domao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmo Bureu having to interfere. Orixe Tuero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Jepisi FC's Mario Abecia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguez Betoño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Orixe Tuero came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Jepisi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orixe Tuero couldn't finish the play. Denis Rubion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmo Bureu having to interfere. Xalbador Domao might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Selmo Bureu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xalbador Domao ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguez Betoño having to interfere. After the first half Jepisi FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orixe Tuero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orixe Tuero in the 52nd minute of play forced Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Rodriguez Betoño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Abecia struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rodriguez Betoño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jepisi FC. Sabaneta FC's Rodriguez Betoño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orixe Tuero in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes Sabaneta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raebert Silva who took care of the corner kick. Palban Estades tried in the 67th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Rodriguez Betoño a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. If Mario Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Mario Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguez Betoño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Mario Abecia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabaneta FC's Xalbador Domao got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Denis Rubion came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sabaneta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Rubion couldn't finish the play. Rodriguez Betoño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orixe Tuero in the 92nd minute of the match.
