Ariel Ruth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Tapia in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Horace Lamontagne could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Ariel Ruth however easily saved by the left post. In the 18th minute Ian Cantrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aubrey Abernathy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, MacKay AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Tapia came free, but Ariel Ruth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Moses Medley from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Ariel Ruth's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ariel Ruth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Tapia in the 23rd minute of play. Roland Tapia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ariel Ruth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aubrey Abernathy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duane Burnham, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for MacKay AFC. Gail Jimenez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aubrey Abernathy. 1-1. After 36 minutes of play, MacKay AFC's Ian Cantrell made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aubrey Abernathy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aubrey Abernathy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Spencer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Duane Burnham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aubrey Abernathy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MacKay AFC's Ariel Ruth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save MacKay AFC from getting a goal against them. Horace Lamontagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horace Lamontagne was the one to do the kick off. Freddie Spencer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aubrey Abernathy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Cantrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Horace Lamontagne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ariel Ruth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Cantrell in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aubrey Abernathy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Ian Cantrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horace Lamontagne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ariel Ruth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MacKay AFC's Ariel Ruth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horace Lamontagne in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind MacKay AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Ruth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aubrey Abernathy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Cantrell in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, MacKay AFC's Juan McKinley got a free kick in the 75th minute. Duane Burnham kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Bradley Duff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ariel Ruth skillfully saved the ball. 83 minutes into the match, MacKay AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Horace Lamontagne came free, but Ariel Ruth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marion Woody scored 1-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aubrey Abernathy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grady Watson's late challenge caught a Snoops Doggs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grady Watson helped the player get up and apologised. Aubrey Abernathy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Cantrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MacKay AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
