Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sergio Chacin made the kick off which started today's match. Masoller AFC's Patricio Orozco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolado Pita in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Bahiano Terrazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Masoller AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marz Oporto. Patricio Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Remolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Vitoria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Patricio Orozco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Vitoria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rolado Pita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesaro Cascallana made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Galtero Cuesta sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Masoller AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Remolino came free, but Patricio Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandaili Acebero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Orozco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Patricio Orozco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolado Pita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Baladi Come sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Cesaro Cascallana threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Baladi Come this time. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Remolino was the one to do the kick off. When Marz Oporto came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Masoller AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marz Oporto couldn't finish the play. Horado Fano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cesaro Cascallana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galtero Cuesta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesaro Cascallana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Cesaro Cascallana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Chacin in the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes, Masoller AFC's Elivareo Capitillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesaro Cascallana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Masoller AFC reached it. 66 minutes into the match, Masoller AFC's goalkeeper Patricio Orozco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Vitoria. In the 71st minute Galtero Cuesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesaro Cascallana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Jordy Viera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vancouver FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Masoller AFC the free kick. Jordy Viera hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Teodoro Vitoria took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Orozco. Patricio Orozco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Elivareo Capitillo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elivareo Capitillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Masoller AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elivareo Capitillo. In the 79th minute, Vancouver FC's Teodoro Vitoria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patricio Orozco. Patricio Orozco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After having played for 83 minutes, Sergio Chacin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masoller AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Chacin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horado Fano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Galtero Cuesta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Masoller AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Galtero Cuesta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesaro Cascallana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Jordy Viera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Masoller AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teodoro Vitoria fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Sergio Chacin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Vancouver FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
