Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 60) Ideal de Montevideo's Llorenc Tobar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmund Kazimierz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergey Marfin in the 5th minute. After 7 played minutes Ideal de Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Orlanda Amezua. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Ramirez in the 11th minute of play forced Ideal de Montevideo's goalkeeper Hustaz Perma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Ideal de Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lopes Arzalaga to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Bernard Camats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punta Carretas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ideal de Montevideo the free kick. The supporters of Ideal de Montevideo booed when Punta Carretas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Camats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartoleme Ocouto, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paz Saboya charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paz Saboya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Santiago Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punta Carretas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hustaz Perma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bartoleme Ocouto came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Punta Carretas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartoleme Ocouto couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ideal de Montevideo's zone, Santiago Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hustaz Perma came out of the goal and Santiago Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Bartoleme Ocouto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hustaz Perma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartoleme Ocouto in the 33rd minute of play forced Ideal de Montevideo's goalkeeper Hustaz Perma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Punta Carretas FC's Edmund Kazimierz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Punta Carretas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Santiago Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hustaz Perma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Santiago Ramirez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hustaz Perma was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartoleme Ocouto was the one to do the kick off. Edmund Kazimierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llorenc Tobar in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Ideal de Montevideo booed when Punta Carretas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Camats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Egea didn't quite understand what happened when in the 62 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Edmund Kazimierz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlanda Amezua, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ideal de Montevideo's Hustaz Perma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Ideal de Montevideo from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Punta Carretas FC's Bartoleme Ocouto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hustaz Perma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Santiago Ramirez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hustaz Perma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartoleme Ocouto in the 77th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Bartoleme Ocouto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ideal de Montevideo's Hustaz Perma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Noël Poncelet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hustaz Perma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hustaz Perma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartoleme Ocouto's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Llorenc Tobar scored 2-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmund Kazimierz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Punta Carretas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
