In the 10th minute, Ortiz's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernando Ucles fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 25 de Mayo's Christiano Monedero got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Lluterio Adrian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nesor Llanes was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Rafael Camaño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nesor Llanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ortiz's zone, Christiano Monedero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Tejerina came out of the goal and Christiano Monedero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Christiano Monedero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Tejerina. Ortiz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christiano Monedero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rafael Camaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 de Mayo's Nesor Llanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Camaño in the 39th minute of play. Lluterio Adrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafael Camaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nesor Llanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Camaño made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Ortiz got a corner. 25 de Mayo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Todor Unzueta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Todor Unzueta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nesor Llanes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emanuel Sarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Rafael Camaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nesor Llanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Lluterio Adrian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goncalve Pedrueza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nesor Llanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Natanael Larios notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ortiz's Gaspar Tejerina. Gaspar Tejerina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christiano Monedero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Tejerina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Nesor Llanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Camaño in the 83rd minute of the match. Nesor Llanes came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Ortiz's Rafael Camaño. But to his dismay, Rafael Camaño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Camaño in the 90th minute of play forced 25 de Mayo's goalkeeper Nesor Llanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 de Mayo's Nesor Llanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save 25 de Mayo from getting a goal against them. Lluterio Adrian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nesor Llanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ortiz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
