In the 17th minute, Hernán Cruchaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Baehr struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Cerilo Sierralta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poker Team. Lois Moscoso came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cerilo Sierralta could save by the left post. Taltape AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernán Cruchaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wojciech Cwynar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
