The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Ángel Gabella rounded Zuniga's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 9 minutes, Javiero Cantuarias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zuniga and the CD Uli Hoeneß EV players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zuniga getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Javiero Cantuarias hit a great ball. Carlos Gustavo Arostegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Ángel Gabella reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Demetrio Huaiquiman. The goal made the score 2-0. Pere Jordi Alico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demetrio Huaiquiman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Nafarroa González showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javiero Cantuarias, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CD Uli Hoeneß EV's zone, Feliberto Tirado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nafarroa González came out of the goal and Feliberto Tirado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 played minutes Zuniga got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Tirado. When Ángel Gabella came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the CD Uli Hoeneß EV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ángel Gabella couldn't finish the play. Josías Oquendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Carlos Gustavo Arostegui took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Demetrio Huaiquiman to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes Zuniga got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Tirado. When CD Uli Hoeneß EV's Carlos Gustavo Arostegui in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zuniga's goalie prevented a goal. Ángel Gabella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 played minutes CD Uli Hoeneß EV got a freekick which was hit by Liberto Mundaca. When Nauzet Matute fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuniga's protests and gave Nauzet Matute a yellow card for diving instead. Nauzet Matute hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Gustavo Arostegui in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Huaiquiman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Liberto Mundaca was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. Pere Jordi Alico hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Nafarroa González showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javiero Cantuarias, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Nafarroa González made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josías Oquendo in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the CD Uli Hoeneß EV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
