Teobaldo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo FC's Romário Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Teobaldo FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Celsinho Costa hit a great ball. If Romário Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Colosso booed when Teobaldo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo FC's Wágner Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Teobaldo FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Wágner Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romário Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romário Barral came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jaime Vidal could save by the left post. After 77 minutes of play, Teobaldo FC's Romário Barral made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Vidal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th match minute, Club Atlético Colosso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Romário Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Vidal having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded Teobaldo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Colosso.
