An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Santos in the 29th minute of play forced Caconde's goalkeeper Víktor Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Paulo Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Manoel Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisão Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Ara FC booed when Caconde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a left leg Víktor Paraense saved Caconde from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Valdomiro Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdomiro Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Víktor Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisão Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Paraibano in the 92nd minute. Caconde's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
