If Luiz Paulo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Paulo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Gustavo Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Rony Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Luisão Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rony Prata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Benjamim Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Luiz Paulo Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Rony Prata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ara FC's Luisão Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Benjamim Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Ara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Urbano to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ara FC's zone, Carlos Alberto Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisão Santana came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisão Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Prata in the 67th minute of the match. Ara FC's Valdomiro Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rony Prata in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisão Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matheus Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ara FC! When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, S E Fulustra's Carlos Alberto Saraiva got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luisão Santana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Santos in the 88th minute of play forced S E Fulustra's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ara FC's Luisão Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ara FC from getting a goal against them. S E Fulustra's Benjamim Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Rony Prata sped through Ara FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisão Santana. The S E Fulustra players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
