Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Trinity's Adolfo Teixeira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Gameleira got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Neuber. In the 8th minute, Hélder Rosado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lauro Linhares. The goal made the score 1-0. After 11 minutes of play, Gameleira's Aloísio Rosa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauro Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moacir Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Campidelis in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Eurico Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gameleira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trinity the free kick. A collision led to Gameleira getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Rosado got free with Lauro Linhares in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Juninho Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Gameleira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Lauro Linhares was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Juninho Medeiros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juninho Medeiros really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. With a little luck, Trinity's Lauro Linhares got control of the ball when Aloísio Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line.
