Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Campidelis to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Cardozo got free with Mauro do Valle in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Nois Que Voa's Hélio Campidelis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauro do Valle. Mauro do Valle came out of the goal and Baltazar Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Mauro do Valle managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Nois Que Voa's Baltazar Cardozo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mauro do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Campidelis in the 70th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Baltazar Cardozo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Mauro do Valle. Mauro do Valle made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Delfim Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Mauro do Valle stood somewhat misplaced when Hélio Campidelis came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 85 minute. Baltazar Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Mauro do Valle made a huge save. Hélio Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
