Augusto Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro do Valle having to interfere. Ruy Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Mauro do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLAYSON FC. The supporters of PLAYSON FC booed when Palmeiras Piatã FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Tande made a kick off. With a little luck, Palmeiras Piatã FC's Mauro do Valle got control of the ball when Ruy Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruy Ribeiro took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro do Valle. Mauro do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Naldo da Fonseca scored 1-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldinho Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Augusto Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, Naldo da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras Piatã FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldinho Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naldo da Fonseca went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. PLAYSON FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
