After 3 played minutes Capivary EC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Trancoso. 5 minutes into the match, Capivary EC's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Linares came free, but Deivid de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarbas Bueno struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Deivid de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anhuma. Júlio Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Seco having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Capivary EC's Emanuel Bueno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sidney Seco. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. In the 27th minute Natanael Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deivid de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Anhuma's zone, Emanuel Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Seco came out of the goal and Emanuel Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Bueno in the 33rd minute of play forced Anhuma's goalkeeper Sidney Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Natanael Linares made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Capivary EC's Deivid de Sousa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Júlio Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Seco having to interfere. When Emanuel Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Capivary EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Bueno couldn't finish the play. Júlio Vieira in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sidney Seco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Anhuma's Fellipe de Barros got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Jarbas Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Anhuma's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Vieira came free, but Sidney Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Vieira's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Emanuel Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid de Sousa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natanael Linares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Capivary EC's Júlio Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidney Seco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The audience was convinced that Júlio Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidney Seco was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Capivary EC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
