But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademir Severo couldn't finish the play. Cauan Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Narciso Viana made a huge save. Aron Granger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Dunga EC - FEOSP MZ's Aron Granger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Severo in the 11th minute of play. Aron Granger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrézinho de Queiroz went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milton Japón during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Milton Japón hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Narciso Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reginaldo Soares's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Cauan Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Benfica do Imirim SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Mello came free, but Narciso Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Soares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Narciso Viana, 1-1. Narciso Viana made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Cauan Mello sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reginaldo Soares in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Viana saved Benfica do Imirim SC from getting behind. Cauan Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauan Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Viana having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reginaldo Soares was the one to do the kick off. Narciso Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Narciso Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Reginaldo Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reginaldo Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute Reginaldo Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reginaldo Soares in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Viana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Narciso Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauan Mello's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Benfica do Imirim SC's zone, Reginaldo Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Viana came out of the goal and Reginaldo Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reginaldo Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Mello in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Andrézinho de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benfica do Imirim SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrézinho de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reginaldo Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Cauan Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Mello in the 88th minute of play. Narciso Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Mello in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho de Queiroz in the 92nd minute of play forced Dunga EC - FEOSP MZ's goalkeeper Aron Granger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes of play Dunga EC - FEOSP MZ's Milton Japón was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd match minute, Dunga EC - FEOSP MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milton Japón to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Benfica do Imirim SC's Andrézinho de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Granger narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
