The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Douglas Abreu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. Douglas Abreu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Cláudio Perez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Douglas Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Benjamim Barbosa lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Cláudio Perez. Gravatahy SS's Cláudio Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Gravatahy SS from getting a goal against them. Douglas Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Cláudio Perez made a huge save. In the 26th minute Patrick Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Cláudio Perez came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galicioli F.C's Douglas Abreu. But to his dismay, Douglas Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 37 minutes into the game, Douglas Abreu lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Cláudio Perez. After a rather tough play, Galicioli F.C's Patrick Falcão got a free kick in the 39th minute. Patrick Baiano charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Baiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrick Baiano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cláudio Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Baiano in the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Patrick Baiano made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Galicioli F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Carioca came free, but Thiago Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Douglas Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Galicioli F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Abreu couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Gravatahy SS's Eduardo Sena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Veloso. Thiago Veloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Cláudio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Baiano in the 74th minute of play. Gravatahy SS's Cláudio Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Baiano in the 76th minute of play. Cláudio Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Cláudio Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Baiano's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Gravatahy SS's Cláudio Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Abreu in the 88th minute of play.
