Cícero Mineiro started the match with the kick off. A collision led to AEC Juta Três getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ismael Santana hit a great ball. Mauá's Lucas Sá couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AEC Juta Três. 9 minutes into the match, Roger Moraes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AEC Juta Três's Ismael Hoffmann. Ismael Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Fernando Cabral's late challenge caught a AEC Juta Três's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Fernando Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Mauá got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Cabral. After 15 played minutes Mauá got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Varela. Gabriel Madureira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Gaúcho in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Haroldo Gaúcho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Madureira. Mauá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Gaúcho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Mauá booed when AEC Juta Três was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Ciro Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mauá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Ciro Cavalcante notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of AEC Juta Três's Ismael Hoffmann. Ismael Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 played minutes Mauá got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Cardoso. In the 35th minute, one of AEC Juta Três:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AEC Juta Três. Lucas Sá walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ismael Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gabriel Madureira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Cavalcante made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mauá's zone, Cícero Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Madureira came out of the goal and Cícero Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cícero Mineiro in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Gaúcho in the 71st minute of play forced Mauá's goalkeeper Gabriel Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Simões's late challenge caught a Mauá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Cavalcante in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Cícero Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cícero Mineiro took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Madureira. Gabriel Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Ismael Hoffmann was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lucas Sá. AEC Juta Três's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
