Pedrinho Veiga struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Alexandre Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Democracia Socialista. 16 minutes into the match, Democracia Socialista's Davi Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Patrick Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Renatinho Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davi Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davi Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. Beloslav Kotzakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Paes in the 34th minute of play. If Davi Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Luckasianos's zone, Pedrinho Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Almeida came out of the goal and Pedrinho Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Luckasianos's Alexandre Almeida got control of the ball when Davi Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedrinho Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alexandre Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Davi Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Almeida. Luckasianos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renatinho Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Paes in the 52nd minute of play forced Democracia Socialista's goalkeeper Beloslav Kotzakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Patrick Veloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beloslav Kotzakov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Veiga in the 72nd minute of play forced Luckasianos's goalkeeper Alexandre Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Duarte in the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Pedrinho Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Democracia Socialista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Luckasianos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juninho da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Democracia Socialista's Beloslav Kotzakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Paes in the 92nd minute of play. When Juninho da Silva fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luckasianos's protests and gave Juninho da Silva a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Luckasianos getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Juninho da Silva hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
