The Suição United fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Suição United's Róbson Tróia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeremias Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, one of Suição United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Suição United. Luís Eduardo de Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Eduardo de Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Alvorada SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Nilton Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Tróia in the 28th minute of play forced Alvorada SS's goalkeeper Nilton Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizinho Toscano hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Alfredo Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Róbson Tróia notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Alvorada SS's Nilton Mota. Nilton Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Hermes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Róbson Tróia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Nilton Mota when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Suição United's Cléber Eger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Gilberto Carvalho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nilton Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilberto Carvalho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 65th minute. In the 70th minute, Joaquim Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Alvorada SS's zone, Tiago Gabriel Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilton Mota came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo José Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Róbson Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Leal in the 81st minute of play forced Suição United's goalkeeper Paulo José Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tiago Gabriel Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Murillo Leão fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvorada SS's protests and gave Murillo Leão a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Róbson Tróia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilton Mota. That made the score 2-8 in the 95 minute of play. Suição United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
