The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Clayton Gerson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernani Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernani Vander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nacos FC - AWAY getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ernani Vander hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Nacos FC - AWAY's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo de Queirós came free, but Pedro Paulo Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Doru Bistreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulo Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doru Bistreanu in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Paulo Simões saved Nacos FC - AWAY from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Doru Bistreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Paulo Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 41 minutes of play, Escobar's Jânio Fantini made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Paulo Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Nacos FC - AWAY's zone, Doru Bistreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Simões came out of the goal and Doru Bistreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the game, Doru Bistreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Pedro Paulo Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juvenal Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernani Vander hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rodrigo de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Jânio Fantini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Paulo Simões. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 60th minute Jânio Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulo Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo de Queirós in the 64th minute. Nacos FC - AWAY's Pedro Paulo Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Nacos FC - AWAY from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo de Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Pedro Paulo Simões made a huge save. Pedro Paulo Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Escobar's Doru Bistreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Escobar's Pedro Paulo Simões threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Doru Bistreanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Paulo Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Bistreanu went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Nacos FC - AWAY's Pedro Paulo Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Gerson in the 89th minute of play. Zézinho Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pedro Paulo Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Nacos FC - AWAY's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jânio Fantini. Felipe Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Nacos FC - AWAY's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Gerson came free, but Pedro Paulo Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Rodrigo de Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Paulo Simões, 0-9.
