An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Brodel in the 19th minute of play forced Guerreiros SC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Erik Brodel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerônimo Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 37 played minutes Singularity got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Diniz. 39 minutes into the match, Maurício Favoretto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernando Silva, 1-2. Jerônimo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Guerreiros SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Singularity:s goal. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Singularity. Luiz Guilherme Macedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jerônimo Santos. 1-3. 59 minutes into the match, Guerreiros SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael de Azevedo came free, but Jerônimo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maurício Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Falcão in the 67th minute of play. Fernando Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Favoretto in the 79th minute of the match. Fernando Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
