Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Marcelo Txanton made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3rd play minutes Rômulo Carvalho shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Christiano Castro and just under the crossbar into goal. Alfredo Calvino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrinho Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Hortêncio Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Christiano Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Hortêncio Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Christiano Castro. Porongos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Rômulo Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chafariz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of Porongos booed when Chafariz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Chafariz's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Txanton came free, but Pedrinho Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiano Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Couto in the 32nd minute of the match. When Alfredo Calvino fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porongos's protests and gave Alfredo Calvino a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Porongos got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Calvino. Porongos's Christiano Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo Carvalho in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Chafariz's Hortêncio Mesquita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christiano Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Chafariz's Rômulo Carvalho got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Chafariz's Bernard Filipkowski was substituted for Jardel Leão. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rômulo Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Falcão Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rômulo Carvalho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christiano Castro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Walmyr Silveira hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Hugo Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter-Adrián Samuel hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chafariz booed when Porongos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Genova didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes Porongos got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Txanton. Porongos's Christiano Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Porongos from getting a goal against them. Christiano Castro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Falcão Couto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 81 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo Carvalho got free with Christiano Castro in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Rômulo Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christiano Castro. That made the score 0-7 in the 91 minute of play. Pedrinho Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Genova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Chafariz got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Carvalho. When the final whistle sounded Chafariz left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Porongos.
