Pablo Otsando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Dráuzio Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Zhou Yan Bing sped through Günther's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugenio Xabel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Kiliz in the 35th minute of play forced Correntoso's goalkeeper Sergio Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, Günther was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Kiliz to maneuver through the defense. Zhou Yan Bing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Eugenio Xabel made a huge save. Zhou Yan Bing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zhou Yan Bing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Kiliz to strike the kick off in the second half. Günther were furious when Albino Norino was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Albino Norino kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Eugenio Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Otsando in the 57th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Zhou Yan Bing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Correntoso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Zhou Yan Bing took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Xabel. Eugenio Xabel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Eugenio Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhou Yan Bing in the 75th minute of the match. Correntoso were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Günther's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pablo Otsando took the corner. After 78 minutes, Dráuzio Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Correntoso and the Günther players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dráuzio Matorin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Alejandro Ereinotz came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Günther fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Ereinotz couldn't finish the play.
