After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominik Mindykowski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Adrian Taşcău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Gaitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xepe Morros having to interfere. Celedonio Romero came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by ShadowHunters FC's Boleslav Nesterov. But to his dismay, Boleslav Nesterov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Egoi got free with Xepe Morros in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Gaitan struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Xepe Morros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the boca juniors fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ShadowHunters FC.
