The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Claudio Gonsalvo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Massi FC. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Claudio Gonsalvo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Danilo Hitzeder walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Massi FC.'s Elias Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Jaen in the 79th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Timoteo Quintan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Filgueira Juan Club and the Massi FC. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
