Aaron Hotz lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Club Atlético Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Silverio Birjaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eusebio Maore came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Club Atlético Lyon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Maore couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Astor Atarratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Orlo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Club Atlético Lyon's Benedicto Orlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Beat in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Eusebio Maore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Filiberto Lore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Harriet came out of the goal and Filiberto Lore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenal FC's Cornelio Harriet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Maore in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Filiberto Lore recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornelio Harriet. Filiberto Lore showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 46th minute Eusebio Maore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Lisandro Ortzi made the kick off in the second half. Marciano Justin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Eusebio Maore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebio Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Harriet having to interfere. Cornelio Harriet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Maore, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Lucas Prato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Harriet having to interfere. If Eusebio Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Tabor hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Filiberto Lore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Harriet came out of the goal and Filiberto Lore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eusebio Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Atarratze's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Lyon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedicto Orlo was a little too slow when Marciano Justin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-2. Marciano Justin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Benedicto Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Maore came free, but Cornelio Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Harriet came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Lyon's Eusebio Maore. But to his dismay, Eusebio Maore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Club Atlético Lyon were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
