The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, ROMPEHUESOS FUTBOL PASION's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Cortez came free, but Amadeo Tibalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Maureo struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Zeledon Udalaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROMPEHUESOS FUTBOL PASION. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Abdurrahman Vahdet managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROMPEHUESOS FUTBOL PASION's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdurrahman Vahdet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Udalaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Udalaitz having to interfere. The supporters of ROMPEHUESOS FUTBOL PASION booed when SANTO TOMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Quintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9th play minutes Gonzalo Maureo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Zeledon Udalaitz and just under the crossbar into goal. After 20 minutes of play, ROMPEHUESOS FUTBOL PASION's Hermengildo Nuñez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Udalaitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute, Hermengildo Nuñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROMPEHUESOS FUTBOL PASION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Gonzalo Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ROMPEHUESOS FUTBOL PASION's Higinio Cloyo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute of the match Abdurrahman Vahdet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Udalaitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SANTO TOMAS's zone, Gonzalo Maureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Udalaitz came out of the goal and Gonzalo Maureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, SANTO TOMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Cloyo came free, but Zeledon Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After 53 minutes SANTO TOMAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abdurrahman Vahdet who took care of the corner kick. Gonzalo Maureo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in SANTO TOMAS's zone, Hermengildo Nuñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Udalaitz came out of the goal and Hermengildo Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gonzalo Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in SANTO TOMAS's zone, Gonzalo Maureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Udalaitz came out of the goal and Gonzalo Maureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Tibalt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Cortez's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute, Gonzalo Maureo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the SANTO TOMAS defense, Higinio Cloyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Udalaitz. The SANTO TOMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Udalaitz should have stopped the shot. Zeledon Udalaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Maureo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Maureo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Udalaitz saved SANTO TOMAS from getting behind. Zeledon Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Maureo in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Amador Tome sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Udalaitz skillfully saved the ball.
