The referee showed Ricardo Acuña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Banfield 1896 FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Acuña. A collision led to Rumiyaco getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Constantino Osasun hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Constantino Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Savion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Qian Kuan Bing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rumiyaco's Eustaquio Atarratze was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rumiyaco's Eustaquio Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qian Kuan Bing in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Rumiyaco's Eustaquio Atarratze got control of the ball when Santiago Leizarraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Atarratze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Eustaquio Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Leizarraga in the 64th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustaquio Atarratze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qian Kuan Bing in the 90th minute of play forced Rumiyaco's goalkeeper Eustaquio Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rumiyaco players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Banfield 1896 FC.
