After having played for 6 minutes, Raimundo Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puisoyé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Phelipe in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Raimundo Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puisoyé's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Eufrasio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorato Eufrasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes Puisoyé got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Blanco. After a defensive mix-up in GoldenHawks FC's zone, Victorio Nazario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Eufrasio came out of the goal and Victorio Nazario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Eufrasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Victor Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GoldenHawks FC's Honorato Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Nazario in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeo Chorache during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Puisoyé's Paulo Santiago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Puisoyé from getting a goal against them. Lázaro Berto kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Victorio Nazario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Puisoyé's zone, Victor Phelipe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Santiago came out of the goal and Victor Phelipe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Fernan Librado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alberto Castulo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the GoldenHawks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Castulo couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Lopes was the one to do the kick off. When Luis Ortle came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the GoldenHawks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Ortle couldn't finish the play. Gogo Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Puisoyé got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Blanco. 57 minutes into the game, Puisoyé's Victorio Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorato Eufrasio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Victorio Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind GoldenHawks FC's goalkeeper Honorato Eufrasio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, GoldenHawks FC's Luis Ortle got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Aristides Leheren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Raimundo Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Puisoyé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Lopes couldn't finish the play. Aristides Leheren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Aristides Leheren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GoldenHawks FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puisoyé the free kick. A collision led to GoldenHawks FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Aristides Leheren hit a great ball. Vinicio Baumer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Raimundo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Eufrasio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Lopes in the 95th minute of play forced GoldenHawks FC's goalkeeper Honorato Eufrasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
