In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hossana F.C's goalkeeper Jimeno Benvide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tartagal por Siempre's goalkeeper Eliseo Piearres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 minutes, Aristides Oinatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tartagal por Siempre and the Hossana F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Aristides Oinatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Tartagal por Siempre got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Franco. Pablo Berbiz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Rogelio Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Hossana F.C's Jimeno Benvide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Hossana F.C from getting a goal against them. Hossana F.C's Jimeno Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Fernendo in the 53rd minute of play. Rogelio Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Benvide having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Fernendo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alejo Fernendo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Edgardo Ishmael hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Aldo Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hossana F.C's Jimeno Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Sanson in the 62nd minute of play. Rogelio Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Benvide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Galindo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimeno Benvide having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Hossana F.C's goalkeeper Jimeno Benvide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Franco. 72 minutes into the game, Tartagal por Siempre's Alejo Fernendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Benvide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The long shot by Aristides Oinatz in the 88th minute really tested Jimeno Benvide's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rogelio Franco struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jimeno Benvide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tartagal por Siempre. Tartagal por Siempre's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
