The crowd rose to their feet as Lugano FC's Astor Corderun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fulgencio Evangelista. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. Anselmo Kaxen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Diegotxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Anselmo Kaxen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prosperosomos's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Kaxen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Ipar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulgencio Evangelista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Corderun in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Kaxen in the 31st minute of play forced Lugano FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Evangelista came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Lugano FC's Astor Corderun. But to his dismay, Astor Corderun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After having played for 61 minutes, Joel Paul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prosperosomos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Paul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Prosperosomos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lugano FC's Conrado Mirande got a free kick in the 64th minute. A hard shot 68 in the game by Joel Paul from a close distance when the talented Eliseo Ipar managed to make a qualified save. Lugano FC's players were relieved. Fulgencio Evangelista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Kaxen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 84 minutes into the match, Conrado Mirande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Evangelista. Prosperosomos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Mirande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After a rather tough play, Lugano FC's Silvestre Ferrer got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Joel Paul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prosperosomos's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Paul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Ipar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Lugano FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
