Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Ibon in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Eneas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ildefonso Eneas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Ibon in the 29th minute of the match. Guido Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Timoteo Vincente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Eneas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Berasko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roque Natanael's late challenge caught a Bayauca AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Natanael helped the player get up and apologised. If Guido Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 56th minute Timoteo Vincente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Eneas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Timoteo Vincente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Eneas came out of the goal and Timoteo Vincente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Emesto. 59 minutes into the match, Bayauca AFC's Efrain Oro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Eneas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Ibon got free with Ildefonso Eneas in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Ildefonso Eneas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jesus Rutenio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. Bayauca AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Ibon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bayauca AFC's Timoteo Vincente in the 87th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ildefonso Eneas was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for San Lorenzo through an amazing save. Timoteo Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ildefonso Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Bayauca AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Rutenio came free, but Gerardo Berasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Rutenio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. San Lorenzo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
