Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evaristo Bilintx made the kick off which started today's match. Erasmo Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Horado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Bilintx in the 4th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Erasmo Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Horado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Erasmo Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anquincila's Paulino Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Urtungo in the 8th minute of play. Paulino Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Urtungo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Paulino Gipuzkoa came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Gogo Gelacio. But to his dismay, Gogo Gelacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Anquincila booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Guipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Ponc having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, River Plate's Gogo Gelacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Gipuzkoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Isidro Errolan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21stth minute of the game Ciro Urtungo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anquincila's Paulino Gipuzkoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Anquincila's Severiano Sein got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Gogo Gelacio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Anquincila booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Horado might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Ponc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Horado ran back to his position shaking his head. Anquincila's Evaristo Bilintx got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Gelacio to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Evaristo Bilintx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo Ponc. The goal made the score 1-2. Anquincila's Paulino Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Gelacio in the 37th minute of play. Evaristo Bilintx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Ponc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Gogo Gelacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Gogo Gelacio made the kick off in the second half. Paulino Gipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Loramendi in the 55th minute of play. Eduardo Sein's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Sein helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of River Plate booed when Anquincila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Sein didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Bilintx came free, but Erasmo Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Ponc having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Anquincila's goalkeeper Paulino Gipuzkoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Urtungo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Bilintx in the 76th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Erasmo Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Eduardo Sein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Ponc came out of the goal and Eduardo Sein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anquincila's Evaristo Bilintx got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basilio Horado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Erasmo Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Anquincila fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. River Plate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
