The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Maximino Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Odilon in the 6th minute of play forced Ávalos AFC's goalkeeper Gerardo Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Maximino Aires had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Frutos. Ávalos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Aires was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A hard shot 12 in the game by Luiz Paulo Meirelles from a close distance when the talented Cosme Salvadore managed to make a qualified save. ALKAZEE AFC's players were relieved. When Apolo Quexal fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ávalos AFC's protests and gave Apolo Quexal a yellow card for diving instead. Gerardo Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Illan in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Zacarias Odilon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Ávalos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Erdiano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Berasko in the 29th minute of play forced Ávalos AFC's goalkeeper Gerardo Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ávalos AFC's Fulgencio Cutberto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cosme Salvadore but with some difficulty. In the 39th minute, Emanuel Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Berasko in the 41st minute of play forced Ávalos AFC's goalkeeper Gerardo Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Paulo Meirelles in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cosme Salvadore, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 44th minute Marcelino Sabin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Zacarias Odilon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALKAZEE AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Odilon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Ávalos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Quexal to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Marcelino Sabin made a precise shot to the right of Gerardo Frutos. Ávalos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. A collision led to Ávalos AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Salvador Erdiano hit a great ball. Gerardo Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Aires in the 62nd minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cosme Salvadore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Sabin got free with Gerardo Frutos in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Odilon in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Ávalos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Odilon came free, but Gerardo Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Salvador Erdiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ávalos AFC and the ALKAZEE AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Luiz Paulo Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ALKAZEE AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
