Ubaldo Elija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Txilar having to interfere. In the 24th minute Guañizuil were awarded a corner. Timoteo Baudelio went to the cornerflag to take it. Isaias Erasto tried in the game's 25th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Arnulfo Txilar. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. 37 minutes into the game, Bravona's Claudio Oliviero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Mannuel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 41st match minute, Bravona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Kaxen to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Arnulfo Txilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Bravona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Eskuin to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Cordarrell in the 46th minute of play. Arnulfo Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Rozarius was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Mannuel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Iban in the 54th minute. After 60 played minutes Bravona got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Kaxen. Ubaldo Elija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Claudio Oliviero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Rolando Mannuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Moises Cloyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Claudio Oliviero notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Guañizuil's Rolando Mannuel. Rolando Mannuel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Mannuel made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Dario Cordarrell sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Iban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Rolando Mannuel made a huge save. 88 minutes into the game, Claudio Oliviero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Mannuel. Claudio Oliviero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. Baldomero Rozarius struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Arnulfo Txilar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guañizuil.
