If Pascual Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Rolando Pelayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Pelayo in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Enzo Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Emesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Fonso in the 62nd minute of play forced VILLEGAS CLUB's goalkeeper Vinicio Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palmas FC's Enzo Emesto got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Obano charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
